Baron was born in Kingsport, TN (Go Vols!), but was raised in Kansas City, Missouri. (Go Chiefs!) He had the privilege of being born in a Christian home. From a very early age, he heard the gospel, and learned from his parents what it meant to serve in a local church ministry.
As he grew older, he realized that just being from a Christian home does not guarantee a personal relationship with Christ. In fact it was not till his 21st birthday that he understood personally what the Lord had done for him and he put his trust in Him for his salvation. Soon after that, God began to change Baron and give him a desire to know him and serve Him.
Baron finished his B.A in Bible and his MA in Pastoral Studies in 1996. Upon completion of Bible College in 1996, he visited Romania, and it became clear that God was calling him to serve Him in this needy country. Baron was married May 11, 1996 to Joyce, and they were able to both visit Romania to confirm God’s call for them to serve Him there.
Baron and Joyce served in Romania as church planters for 18 years and were able to see God start an autonomous, indigenous church in the city of Lugoj. God has also blessed Joyce and Baron with 4 biological sons and adopted Romanian twins, Zachary, Spencer, Andrew, Joey, Gina and Nate.
Baron has a heart full of mercy and compassion for the lowly and loves to serve and edify the Body of Christ. He is excited about this new opportunity of ministry at Hope Chapel.
